Try a little bitterness

  1. Interesting !!

After my initial foray into the world if infusions this year, with Sloe Gin, Wild Blackberry Whisky… and a concoction any mad scientist would be proud of, Gin, Wild Blackberries, Apple slices, Kaffir Lime leave, Bay leaf and Scented ( Orange ) Geranium leave .

    All currently infusing…

With thesis you have motivated me to venture into unchartered territory and try a similar concoction… Must check the local A & E is open before daring to taste !

    1. I found germanium rather overpowering and never revisited it, maybe I should rethink. Do you crack a few of the stones when you make sloe gin? I like the bitter almond edge it makes, I’m planning on sweetening mine with honey this year, that will call for extensive tasting…..
